Dear Brain,
I would very much like to proceed with another 3 or 4 thousand words today. Good one, words that make sense and actually propell the story forward.  Not words that make me cringe and end up being highlighted and tagged to edit out later.  I have a three day weekend with the boys and last weekend I wrote nothing.  eep.

yesterday I reached 10,000.  10,051 to be exact.  I'm super excited for that even though the tracker says I should have reached that two days prior to be on target.  That's ok because if the words keep coming like they have been I'll catch up soon enough.  Of course I need to find a way to work on the days the kids are home.  I think I'll have to ( Read more... )

On either Octoberf 30th or 31st I got a little crazy. I decided to do NaNoWriMo - National Novel Writing Month.  This is the challenge to pound out 50,000 words on a novel in the month of November.  eep.  I joined a local writers group for motivation. Yes, we are all sick.  The boys are hacking and then they gave it to me.  And as I work through it I have been hacking too.  Sleeping is a joke.  I'm propped up and still wake up coughing up a lung in the middle of the night.  Irk.  so, no sleep for me to get better.  It may or may not work out to my advantage as I have Jury Duty on Monday.  Oh joy ( Read more... )
