I do! But they keep calling when everybody isn't home. It's distressing!

Pretend you're not home either?

;p That's my usual trick. Sometimes I give in though, when they're being persistent.

I think you should just set your phone on fire. Maybe during a satanic ritual. Actually, delete that maybe.

...when I was young, I used to not be able to tell my friend's voice from her mum's, so I'd be like. "Hi. This is Acacia..." *silence*

XD Yeah I can never tall anyones voice on the phone. That's why I aanswer the phone with 'Hi this is Anna speaking' so others wont be confused. Whenever I ring someone (even if I'm fairly positive I know who I'm talking to) I always ask to speak to *insert-person-I-want-here* so I wont make the same mistake Rach did once, and have a good chat to my mum who she thought was me XD

*laughs* Yeah, one of my friends once had a long conversation with her BROTHER'S girlfriend, who thought she was her brother.... that sounded funny ;)

Gah exactly!!!

Yeah I've noticed how with Telemarketers the phone is usually silent for 3 seconds after your 'hello' before they greet you. So if I ever get that silence when I pick up the phone, I just hang up ^_^

I do wonder if I've hung up on anybody I know yet that has just been a little slow in saying something...

I never answer the phone when I'm the only one home.

If it's someone from the family I just say I was in the bathroom when the phone was ringing and by the time I came out to try to answer it it had stopped ringing.

It works all the time.
