They're only titchy things, but still. Dude. You have snail. Maybe at least tidy yourself up a bit before coming in from the garden?

It's National Chocolate Week here in the UK, so J and I met up in London to hunt down all The City had to offer by way ( Read more... )

Very interesting photos. I had no idea cocoa pods were so big. And yes, very alien looking indeed.

They really are quite big, although that may have been because the store went out of its way to import sizeable specimens for the event.

Maybe the snail was a friend he was giving a lift to. I dunno, we have snails but I've never seen one on any of our cats. :-P

Hello there!

I suspect them to be Cat-Jackers, holding up the cat at the intersection and climbing on before demanding a lift inside :-D

Snail. Cat. Snail. No.

Cocoa pod otoh is rather intriguing.

Have come to the conclusion the snails are cat-jackers, lying in wait at feline intersections.

Cocoa pod was fascinating. If you can get hold of a fresh one to play with at some point I recommend it. Photos to come (when I can get them from J's phone to this journal).

(Hope your father is doing much better and your holiday is relaxing).

Bob - the local mini-snail taxi company.

And a ukelele! That is sort of the 7" tablet of the world of strings...

Or, they are cat-jackers lying in wait for an unsuspecting passing cat... There was a third one yesterday!

Uke's are fun. So far all I've done is learn how to tune it :-D

So much better than trying to play it without learning how to tune it...
