Attempting to upload more of my fic to AO3 in a sporadic and half-hearted attempt to gather all my fic in one archive, mostly so that I know where it all is.

For some reason, when using the 'upload from URL' feature, one of my fic comes up as a bunch of random Live Journal features and adverts instead.

At first I thought it might be because (for

I don't think you've missed anything - I think this is to do with the optional social sharing buttons you can have on the comments. I've disabled them so I never see them anywhere because Facebook annoys me so much, and who wants to have everything linked everywhere anyway....??

Ah. That sounds likely then.

With you on not wanting every aspect of my life linked. And yet it's getting harder and harder to opt out. I have no problem with those who want to opt in, but it shouldn't be so difficult to say 'No'. FB is like a repeat offender stalker. And G+ is someone with a social disorder - annoyingly persistent but usually harmless.
