Merry Christmas, flist, I hope you have a happy and safe holiday.

The second half of this year has been somewhat epic fail. The first half was lovely and exciting, but then things started going wrong. I hope next year is better.

The Libs have actually eaten themselves. It is amazing and horrifying. Mostly horrifying. Tony Abbott? Really? That seemed like the smart choice here? It has been a very bad month. A couple of deaths and a couple of people losing their hair from chemo. I just need something good to happen. It doesn't have to be amazing, I just want something good.

My interwebz is ridiculously patchy at the moment. This is crappy and I hate it. I have to use my phone's internet, which is just painful. So, I haven't checked my flist in a couple of days. Did I miss anything important?

Happy birthday, crapguitarist! I know you aren't a huge fan of birthdays, but I hope this one managed to surpass your expectations!

Some days it seems like high school never really ended. I am sick of those days.

I've kind of adored the last two episodes of Grey's. I love this thing they're doing where it's a big case with bits of personal drama around it. I like that a lot. I also like that the personal drama isn't epically ridiculous personal drama. I like how they've written in Ellen Pompeo's pregnancy, and I love the lack of Izzie. I just showered using all my shiny new Body Shop and Lush products and now it feels like my whole body is made of butter.

Also, House seems to have gotten good again this season. Awesome!

There are definitely some disadvantages to living in a small town again. I raided The Body Shop and Lush while in Rocky for the weekend and forgot conditioner and moisturiser.

My friends are a wee bit awesome sometimes. Last night they organised surprise!board games and cocktails night. And drunken fun was had be all. Well, except me and my not proper drinking business. I enjoyed the cocktails I had and that's all that counts ( Read more... )
