Yikes! It's been a very, very long time indeed. Glad to see you back! Though I have a headache right now and can't think of a thing to update you on.

Glad to be back! Sorry about the headache, though. How's the kidlet?

He's good! Do you believe he's in first grade? I'm still boggled.

So, I'm glad to hear you're done with your Americorps time! That's very awesome. And your new job sounds fun.

This is incredibly weird, because I swear on my life, I dreamt about you coming to visit last night and showing you my knitting. How odd!

I am delighted to hear that you are still working in a nonprofit setting but have found one that's a better fit for you. And still working with your community garden! Lovely!

That is so strange! Just a sign that it was time to reconnect, I guess. :-) I am very glad to be still in a nonprofit setting. (Your advice to me still goes down as some of the most immediately helpful and practical I've ever gotten.) The community garden is HUGE. This year, it went from 4 plots to 40. It's been amazing!

Hi! Um, knitting is good. Haven't finished anything in awhile, but that's not atypical for summer. The last thing I knit was a baby hat for my friends. It was a yoda hat. It was amazing. Now I am on a pair of socks. Love the magic loop method on them, but can't seem to manage to two at a time method.

Oh my God, I think about those characters from time to time! Because let's face it, Riley/Leo (with a side of Preston) are the OTP of my brain. And Presea/A.J. is still some of the earliest good writing I ever did. (Unlike that sentence, which was not so good.)

Congrats on graduating and on the new job! Those are both amazing feats!

It's great to hear from you, Christi! The job sounds great, as does imminent debt-freeness and your living situation. I'm glad things are working out!
