Everything you experience is tainted by your own perception and interpretation, so that when somethng seems perfectly legitimate and realistic to you other people might say "that never happened" or " I never said that". So my question is: how do you determine what's real and what's only real in your mind?

Does being in a relationship have to mean losing all sense of self? He says he loves me for me, but how is that possible when he has such a specific idea of who he wants me to be? Love is so hard. I feel like I've completely lost who I thought I was.

my heart just refuses to let go of him. i was driving today and i ended up at his house. i went and sat near his window just to feel close to him. i feel like i'm turning into and honest to god stalker. dating seems ridiculous to me, what is like in comparison to love? i just wish he cared about me, or that i didn't care about him.
