It's official. I have a license to practice nursing. Next up, a job! Gonna take the weekend to unwind and celebrate, then the hunt begins in earnest, with an official license number, some resume tweaking, etc.

It shut off after 75 questions (the minimum possible to pass), and I did the Pearson Vue trick and got the good pop up. I didn't get the ED job. :( sadness. Ah well, movin' on. I also got a rejection letter from one of the 2 med/surg jobs I applied to (probably because I'm not licensed yet).

Not putting in anymore apps till I've passed my NCLEX. Just gotta focus on passing that.

Still nada from TG, but my submission status still says "considering".... not sure what that means... are they really still considering me ( Read more... )

So I still haven't heard from TG. Today is kinda the last day, too (they said they'd let us know by the end of this week and hey look, it's Friday! :p). Taking it Feb. 7th. God help me! :p

I applied on Monday for an ER residency, they called me back to set up an interview while I was flying out of Seattle to come see my niece's graduation ceremony in Austin. I connected with her after a little phone tag, and my interview is on January 7th! Eeeep! I'm glad I have some time to prepare! *gulp* Oh man I hope I get this job!

One last class tomorrow, one last clinical shift on Wednesday, then my final exam on Monday the 10th, then I'm DOOOOOOONE!!!!!!

Hanging on by a thread. Feeling extremely high strung, and stretched tight as piano wire. 4 days to get all my projects finished and they are all in various states of completion.
