Oh, I LOVED it. So much. The part with Amy and the videotaped Angel was properly scary!

What I noticed today watching Confidential is how different Matt Smith the actor is from the Doctor. That wasn't so noticeable with DT. Matt Smith and the Doctor are two clearly defined, separate entities. He really is good.

I loved the episode. :) I was seriously contemplating hiding behind the sofa last night! Roll on part 2!

Alex Kingston was brilliant as always - she's perfect for the show, isn't she?

I too loved it. I'm not a huge River fan (though Moff's hint that they might not actually be married in the future made me happy) it worked well and I think she has better chemistry with Matt then she did with David.

I adored that Steven brought the Angels back they are so awesome and deserve to be a proper part of the Doctor Who Monster Legacy rather then just Monsters of the Week. So long as they are used sparringly I think they work wonderfully. That was something I thought RTD never did a good job of creating his own monsters instead of just relying on the old-school ones for the big moments.

Hopefully we'll also get to see Sally Sparrow down the line again as well, I really liked her a lot as well.
