My new job
Chopin and I have been keeping busy lately. We've been asked to visit the childrens' wing of the hospital three times a week to play with the kids there. I play music for them and Chopin deals with them climbing on him. (He likes it). It's been nice feeling useful and I've been making friends. I know I've been gone a while...
Mostly, I've been doing rigorous training. My mother was out with me and I fell down. She got very worried about it and started doing a lot of research. My walking is going to be a little unstable, so she wanted to find a way to keep me safe. She also thinks I'm lonely. She was able to find a way to kill two birds with one stone. Winter
The cold is the worst on my body. My legs are killing me, and my head is pounding. I can't give in to it, though, because Munehiro is working so hard! He's inspiring, and working with him has helped me. He's seems down, though, and that makes me sad. I hope things get better for him soon. I've been doing well with music, and I've started school! Merry Christmas~
Atobe-san's party was a lot of fun (you know, after convincing Wakashi-kun to go!). I've been getting more and more stable without my crutches and it's so liberating. I think for the night, I'm going to settle with some tea and practice some Christmas music. I think I'll start with Silver Bells. -

I feel like crying, and I don't know why. Just....the image of a tan-skinned, kind man keeps flashing through my mind and filling my eyes with tears...

Progress~
I perfected Fur Elise with one hand! I'm not even sure how, besides hard work! It feels so good to have actual music flowing from my fingers again. Therapy is going well, now that it's closer. My apartment is easier to get around. I'm excited to perfect my next song! -
Home
We head home tomorrow. Honestly, I'm very glad for it. I miss home. I miss even ground. I'm terribly sorry I didn't make it to make of the events held. I thought coming would give me a chance to spend more time with everyone, but I didn't want to cut in on anyone's time, and everyone seemed to be having fun. The island was very beautiful, however.
