Oh lol, I can just imagine the Airmen frolicking in the fields at wartime, now. XD The mental images! But somehow, this eerily exact line You need to hurry up and get yourself out of exile mate, else I shall be forced, FORCED I say to get you on the GIANT FLYING METAL DRAGON and steal you away to our tropical paradise brings it home to me. Oh god, it can be real. It is real, and Ghislain is really stuck in the window.
You have no idea how much this made me laugh. And it being that sort of day where I need to work while my head feels like it's in the clouds and I'm running a fever--that's saying something. ;D
Ghislain is stuck in a window. Just... Ghislain is stuck in a window. See, I keep reading this, and re-reading it, and it cracks me up every fucking time. Also, I'm reading it in the same voice as the recorded version of the original SBP letters, which makes everything even better. PLEASE keep writing this? I'm close to begging. But I never beg, of course. Just almost.
Oh my god. I was writing it in the voice of the girls who read out chapter one of the recorded version. (Can I just say that the girl who read Remus Lupin has the most perfect voice, not only for the part, but also just in general voice terms? I have a crush on her based on her voice. It is really that sad.) I chose Ghislain because in the role-play bit, one of the cards was for "that kid who got hit in the head with the boots Ghislain threw out of the window" (or something like that), and naturally the connection just came. Also I really want to continue writing it, so I'll definitely try. It might even have a plot, at some point! How exciting is that!

I had to put my coffee down so as not to spit-take all over computer and keyboard with laughter. :D
