I donated a couple of boxes of cast off things to the White Elephant warehouse yesterday. As soon as I got home discovered more things I'd meant to take. So they go into the back of the truck today. As some of you know, I recently started dating someone for the first time in ages. If you haven't met James, it seems that he will be my date for the Crosston Ball. We will be at dance practice this coming week because he likes to dance.

He's been taking a bit of my time lately, so my being on line isn't quite so frequent these days.

However I did get to the Sing Along Messiah on Friday night at Stanford Chapel. I arrived late because unbeknownst to me the starting time had been moved to 7:30. I am having serious trouble going to bed early enough that I don't sleep through my alarm clock, and I'm hoping that nobody will say anything before I can get this handled.

Right now I'm glad the start date for my new/old job has been pushed back to tomorrow. I will be keeping an earlier schedule, as they want me to start work at 7:30 rather than 9:00. Ah well, it will be at a slightly higher hourly rate, which I will not complain about ( Read more... )

Mostly I am doing things one handed right now, as there are 4 small furry beings who are in great need of some Mom time.

My luggage is in the house and the doors are all open so that the little prisoners are running in and out, reveling in their freedom.

It's nice to be home.
