ITs beautiful and classic looking. And I think it would totally be approrpiate in any color. AS long as you're comfortable in it. I do a lot of wedding photography and it doesn't seem to matter what you wear to a wedding anymore! I havne't done a black tie, but people show up in every color and style of clothing you can imagine. I think thats beautiful. I was going to suggest looking for something kind of hip and vintage retro style, but this fits that with a really classic tone to it.

awww. hey thanks! i ended up just going ahead and buying it online today. i really like it and i've been going back and forth on it for weeks. I like that I would be able to wear it again, which i don't think i would be able to do with something more evening gown-ish. The rules of attire have definitely become much more relaxed and I figure i can dress this up with accessories and it should be fine. Thanks for the input! Hope you are doing well.
