New addition to the family
Well, I had prepared a long and angry rant that jumped into details but... it's hard holding on to anger like that. Short story: the puppy that belonged to my best friends and neighbors is -- unsurprisingly -- ours now. He's a total sweetheart, a mutt of some sort, we're not even sure how old he is. I'm not gonna lie; what brought me back to LJ? Discovering that Richelle Mead has LJ (blue_succubus) as her primary blog. I'm more than a little obsessed. I would mainline her storytelling skills into my veins if I could. Her series all have a perfect blend of relate-ability, imagination and crack-cocaine. -

So my last post was in January... yeah, I kinda stuck.
Sunday is my one-iversary (shorthand for one year anniversary) YAY! Josh and I are now in a duplex. The occupants of the other side of the duplex are my BFF Marissa, her fiancé Mack, and their 3 kids. We share a backyard!

It's been a while...
I think I was posting more for a while because the department(s) I was working in at the time were fairly slow. Now I'm in the big leagues. Constantly busy. It feels like the areas I'm working are blending together. If I'm in one department, I'm doing work for two or three others, which is great ( Read more... ) -
