"Kratos's room is up ahead," Soma told Rapunzel as they rounded the next corner. "We were exploring a mine to the north last night when we were attacked by a large snake." That was understating it considerably, but the last thing she wanted to do was worry Rapunzel now. "His ribs are pretty badly bruised and he might have laid open some previous cuts while we were fighting it. Do you think you might be able to do something?"

"All right," said Rapunzel as they moved, hair half-bundled, half trailing behind her as a sort of compromise between holding that whole load and leaving it all out for people to trip on. At least this way, there wasn't as much for people (or super-powered flashes) to get tangled up in, and her arms wouldn't get tired so quickly. Goodness knew she couldn't have any more of her body getting tired at this point. "Let's move quick, I guess. What's the fastest way to the second floor kitchen?" she asked, mind immediately going back to her intended destination from the night before.

"The second floor," Soma repeated, scanning the corridor with her flashlight. "There's a stairway at the end of the next hall. That'll take us to the second floor. As for the kitchen, I've never been there, but I have a good idea of where it is."
