And then he would've said something else, but he shut his mouth and stopped walking the second he came out of the stairwell.
So this was the second floor. It...didn't seem too different than the first floor, actually. There seemed to be two hallways up ahead much like the ones downstairs that lead to the patient blocks. Where these particular hallways lead, however, was a different story, one that Byrne and Badd were likely going to find out tonight. What could be up here that the staff didn't want the patients to see? A simple staff-only area, or something more sinister?
Oh, right, they were talking. That could wait for a second. They were here, they needed to start their mission. "It's a lot like the first floor," he commented.

He turned back to Faraday, still wearing that mildly sheepish expression. "It got complicated, I'm not sure where to start over. I'm not even up to that mess that went down at the embassy."

Byrne shook his head. "Just...Hold on a second. We'll worry about it when we get moving somewhere." Wherever 'somewhere' was. Badd had been letting him lead so far, so Byrne wasn't going to ask whether the detective felt left or right was the better way. It didn't matter in the end, they didn't know what was down either way. They just needed to choose one path and get to investigating already.
So Byrne was going to choose right. "Alright. Let's see what's beyond the Sun Room balcony then."
