They were out pretty late compared to most other patients, so it made sense that the main hall was mostly empty by the time the two of them made it there. Thankfully, there were no monster remains or other signs of struggle. Good, thought Utena. The fewer attacks on patients, the better.
"How long have you been here, by the way? I'm pretty sure I've seen you around before," asked Utena as they hurried down the hall. If Soma had been around before the chunk of time she had lost, that meant she had been here for at least six days now, probably longer. Was it kind of strange that a week was all it took to be a "veteran" at Landel's?
More like unsettling, she thought with a shiver.
