There were more signs of a scuffle here -- no, not just noise. This time it was remains. Not human, whatever it was. It looked, from the mashed parts left, like one of the big cats, the kind that had attacked her last night. It had been squashed, which didn't bode well.
Taura scratched idly at her shoulder with one long metal claw. Wait. Scratched? Was it itching, or was she just indulging in what Admiral Naismith would call a little healthy pre-drop paranoia?
