I somehow managed to burn a huge lump of skin out of my thumb on the coffee machine today at work. Didn't even know I'd done anything, just looked down and saw skin hanging and blood running down my hand

London Calling

My ex-house sharer claimed that London Calling was one of the greatest rock albums of all time and left me one of his copies of it when he returned to Sydney. I didn't really believe him at first, but I've been listening to it in the months since he left, and I think I now agree with him - it is a great album. What you hear is what you get - basic, honest music. No commercial crap. Stuff that i can listen to again and again, and enjoy.

Sorry to intrude - I'll go back to my quiet Sunday afternoon lurking again.
