Ahahaha! Mike M. is the one who thought every webcomic sucked because they didn't have "suspense" - a word he couldn't even define. So good to see him again, if only for the entertainment! XD
Really though, when it's not you arguing with the guy, it's kind of fun to watch him ramble. Doesn't make this new site look good, though.
We don't care how lazy you are about reading comic zines, as long as you still have time to comic! I mean, uh, not-comic. Man, your cover is TOTALLY blown.
Yah, totally. But I don't care. I only cared about the cover when I was doing two comics and was trying to keep them 'seperate' to see how the new comic would do without my old readership knowing about it.
The funny thing is... is that FL has already surpassed SCV's readership. Yoinks!
Also, I didn't read anything on the examiner, but I remember Mike_M from the IRC days, and he was a tool then. I hope he's gotten less annoying as he works his way out of the teenage years.
Hmmmm, excellent site design, I have to admit, but I can't believe anyone actually let Mike M. near a website again! I remember him too. He hated everything non-modern tales
( ... )
I've also offered WCN beta hosting to Xerxes, for comixpedia, but he has (so far) declined. Every time I see comixpedia go down, I rub my hands in evil glee: they will be mine soon, mine all mine.
And, yes, I am a media whore.
I don't have anything to do with WCN other than the hosting offer (which is part of the WCN beta testing for "standard" apache-virtual-host accounts -- lowbright.com, joda.us, daleprince.com and some other sites are also helping me test this -- yes, they're all people I know personally). I also advised Joe on the RSS feed aspect of the site. That's pretty much it.
I think some missteps were made with the launch issue of WCE. I also think some missteps were made with the launch of Comixpedia. And with the launch of Modern Tales, for that matter. Those older publications have had time to work out the kinks. This publication is still young. Let's see how it turns out over time.
FWIW, I still see room for three or four more zines about webcomics, with different angles of attack.
I meant, of course, that I don't have anything to do with WCE other than the beta hosting offer. I have everything to do with WCN. It has consumed almost every working moment of my life for almost a year now. Argh.

So now he's gone up a step is complementing things without defining why or how. Also to make himself look superior.

And you'll find his signature features his webcomic.
Insert seizure here.
