I think this is about due for an update!

This weekend NYC was very satisfying, Wicked was very very incredible and the singing was ridiculously good. The staging was also tres tres TRES bien. Joey Mcintyre was Fiyero and he is SUCH a New Kid on the Block! He surprised me, because he was actually a very good actor, contrary to what you might expect ( Read more... )

hahaha, he was always nice to me in lessons, even when i didn't practice, whiiich was pretty much every time. =)

Actually, I don't think New Kids / NKotB really added to the stereotypes that accompany boy bands. I think they created many of them. 'Cause honestly, what good boy bands were before NKotB ... the Jackson 5? Menudo?
THen again, I wouldn't call NKotB "good" ... I think "good boy band" is an oxymoron.
