BLACKBERRY JAM!!!

i spent the day:
1) picking blackberries. what an adventure.
2) washing blackberries for BLACKBERRY JAM!!!
3) making a quick run to albertsons because we didnt have enough sugar for blackberry jam
4) finishing blackberry jam
5) thinking about blackberry jam.

seriously, i love blackberry jam to no end.

Oh, I'm so envious... I love picking blackberries, and they're so many near my house... and I've always wanted to make jam!

jam is very very easy to make! just get a box of pectin and it has step-by-step instructions inside. i'd advise getting the low-sugar recipe though, because the normal one calls for 3 cups blackberries and five cups sugar.... that's a lot :/ but it still tastes great!
