People who are not from the East Coast think everyone from the East Coast is from either the East Coast or the South. They don't care about New England as a separate category.

Yes, because I've met (youngish) people who didn't know that people in Maryland speak English.

I do not have that cookie (so I don't have a name for it).

If you ever see it you should definitely try it. It's one of my favorite bakery-style cookies.

I'm from Minnesota!

I don't think I've ever seen or referred to that sort of cookie.

Hmm, maybe I should have put square boxes on more of the questions instead of circle boxes.

And after I argued with you all the time about them being half moons. :D It's an Upstate NY thing, I think, so probably one of your friends up there.

Yeah that would make sense... man you're making me want cookies now :P
What is this for? Just linguistics curiosity? You should look and see if people have written anything about it, you'd be surprised! There is so much research out there about this sort of thing. :)

Well, I'll keep it in mind for the future, since changing it now wouldn't do much.

I didn't think about looking it up, though it does seem like an obvious thing to do...I think because I was curious about the people on my friends list in particular. Especially since I know a handful are from the New England area.
