That was a wonderful, mature conversation between Alcide and Debbie, which is why I am 100% sure that Debbie was lying and Bad Things Are Going to Happen.
The show deviates from the books a great deal, but based on that conversation plus what happens in the books, I feel confident in saying that badness is definitely on the horizon.
Sookie just has the hardest life ever, running around the woods with naked Eric and naked Alcide. So difficult!
Heee, I know! I have to say, that was an impressive amount of attractive manflesh on display for a one hour show.
And now I am also all excited about seeing Kristen Bauer at Dragon*Con, because I like Pam JUST A LITTLE.
Remember when we saw her at a restaurant last year with Michelle Forbes? It's a retroactively more cool celebrity sighting!
Sadly, I have only the vaguest memories of anybody besides Michelle Forbes, since she was the only one I recognized. (Was Nelsan Ellis also there?) So for me it's retroactively useless, dammit.
Nelson Ellis was at the Con, as was the actor who plays Sam, but not at the restaurant. It seems like there was a guy with them that none of us recognized.
This year, the only TB actors I see on the guest list are Kristin Bauer and Dennis O'Hare.
* The scenes of Lafayette, Tara, Jesus, and Marnie in the magic shop were disturbingly like an episode of Buffy. Please don't do that any more, show.
I commented on Twitter I was waiting for Giles to walk in to save the day. :p Even the book flying off the shelf was very Buffy. Weird.
I'm glad Jason acknowledged he was being raped, but I have very little confidence there will be much, if any, follow-up. As soon as we had that shot of Jessica with the white light behind her I thought, "Sure, Jason is now going to see her as the 'angel' who saved him, fall in love with her and move on. Sigh."

You could be right. There is surely going to be at least some fallout from his stay in Hotshot, because--werepanther! On the other hand, at minimum he's probably going to have some very interesting dreams of Jessica.
