Aw, how come nobody's taking Drama and Speech? (You get an English/public speaking credit AND you get to have fun on the stage.)

Depends what you're looking for. They're both really good classes - APE definitely takes some of the intimidation factor out of the first semester of college. Mod Lit is slightly less work (the way I took it anyway) but very intellectually stimulating. You can always take both, too.

I was hoping there was someone who had taken both :P

I was debating taking Humanities senior year, so I was going to take APE or Mod Lit this year and Humanities next year...I decided to sign up for Modern Literature next year and maybe take AP English senior year. I don't do very well with Language Arts classes with a lot of writing though, so I'm going to have to think through whether or not I really want to take APE as a senior...

You should take Mod Lit and the Arts next year and then APE as a senior because then there's a greater chance you get to see more of wonderful me!
