I’ve been a bit down lately. Kind of confused again as to what I want to do with work. I’m not happy. I haven’t been happy for awhile. I like what I do but it’s been two years without a raise, and I got a pay cut. We all did, during the recession. We should get a raise in November. I wonder why I write about things. My superstition about putting a guy’s phone number in my cell phone still holds true. Ie, If I put his number in my phone, I will not hear from him beyond a date or two. The same holds true for writing about someone or talking about someone. I’ve started writing a novel for National novel writing month but I haven’t gotten very far on it. I am about 3000 words in and not sure where I want to take it.
