Out, foul jelly

Lame is bad enough, but these dizzy spells have gone far enough.
Several of you have posted about Lasik. All right, here's my big toe and there's the frozen lake, so dip away.

Who's done it? Who knows about it? Who's a real doctor, who's a danger, and what does this cost?

I did it.
Dr. Booth was awesome.

tytal did it. http://tytal.livejournal.com/118661.html

Also, Gavin had it done. Everyone seems to be happy with their new eyeballs.

I've done some research and Tylock has a good reputation, and LasikPlus/Robert Smith has a nice facility and were thorough before telling me I'm not a candidate.

But generally I was quoted $2800 - $3400 and mine should have been towards the upper end of the price scale.

What it costs is entirely dependent upon your personal vision correction needs, and the services you want/are willing to pay for ( ... )

When you get information, please share. I've been considering Lasik for several years, but my doctors all recommended waiting until my eyes stabilized. Which they have. Mostly.
