I didn't realise I was in quite this deep already.

You'd think this stuff would get old... why is it still so appealing ? 
I think I got about 3 hours sleep last night... finally dropped off about 2am and wide awake at 5. I was EARLY for an 8am shift. Ridiculous.

I forgot about the 120bpm resting heart rate... and the cramp. Ouch.

So reading back through this is odd. I wish I could have told that girl of five years ago that it would only get harder... that far more terrifying prospects lay just around the corner and that leaving home was not the haven she was wanting. That the future held more monsters waiting, and that getting older and wiser doesn't make it easier to stop ( Read more... )

 Reasons to stop trying to get better:

- You never really hear of people totally getting over it anyway, i'd rather not do anything by halves
- I'm fat
- I like spending lots of time at the gym, I especially love it when the cross trainer stops measuring seconds because the numbers have to make way for hours and minutes not minutes and seconds
