I didn't think I'd cry this time. I did. Angry tears, anger that the lowest, worst, stupidest and most evil of us managed to elect their poster child.

I didn’t cry, but I was violently sick to my stomach. All night. I’m still in shock this morning. I knew it could happen, but I didn’t want to believe it could happen. I still don’t want to believe it could happen.

I refused to look all night so I wouldn't feel just that way. Once morning came, I had to look. I have probably the lowest opinion possible of the intelligence of the general American public, so I'm not surprised or shocked. Just angry that the intelligent voters didn't get off their asses and prevent this.

I was cautiously optimistic before the polls started to close, but I could see fairly quickly that things weren’t going well, so I did stop looking until morning. Unfortunately, my stomach realized what was happening before my brain did.

I am just so sick over this. And, having also lost the Senate, there's no telling what he'll be able to do this time. I just don't understand anyone who would vote for someone like him.
