Ohhhhh, very nice. I haven't seen this movie since it was in the theaters -- definitely time to watch it again.

That's a powerful vid. Shows him embattled -- not victorious but not giving in either.

Thank you! I quite enjoyed the film even if it was kinda panned by the critics. I'd really like to do a vid on his many affairs and how kinda - ew - I found his thing for young girls. But vividcon looms and I might wait to get some DVD quality footage.

Wow. I really enjoyed this. The editing was awesome and the song choice was superb ;).

Like you I had no idea about Chaplin's political views until I watched the film. Although I recall writing a report on him when I was in sixth or seventh grade. I was really into his films when I was a kid, but after watching the movie my entire view on Chaplin changed (in a good way). Random, sorry. ANYWAY. The video was fantastic.

What a great friggin movie.

Thank you so much. I love CSNY and their political music is completely kick-ass. :D Man, I wish we still had awesome music like that.

My opinion of him changed after watching the film too, in some good ways and then in some not so good ways. But it was a great movie.

Thanks again!

I was lucky in that Chaplin was the subject of a great retrospective in local cinemas back when I was in my early 20s, meaning I got to see all the classic silent movies at proper speed and sometimes even complete with live orchestra music. Excellent vid!

It would be SO AWESOME to see some of those films the way they were meant to be seen. Lucky you!

Thank you!

Ohhh, this is brilliant. Really lovely! (I couldn't get the password to work, so have downloaded.) Thanks for the context in your notes, too!

Thank you very much! I changed the password so hopefully it's a little less wonky.

This is really awesome! Chaplin's political side has always interested me and the "never give in" feel of the vid truly does him justice.
