There's a line on the front page of LJ which tells you how long ago your journal was updated, and given it's approaching a year, I decided I probably ought to post again. I'm not entirely sure what to say, though, so I thought I'd get around it with pictures. To kill two birds with one stone, I also get to show those of you who slag off Essex what ( Read more... )

You succeeded in making Essex look attractive. Much more than Police Interceptors managed. Though I suppose you're living in an altogether more civilised part of Essex. I'm sure you could make Yorkshire look awful if you only ever saw Barnsley and Wakefield and Bradford, and truly lovely if you showed only Harrogate and the Dales.

It's nice to see an update from you, too :)

Police Interceptors is unfortunately accurate, but thankfully for me, it's never shot in Leigh; the closest they get is Southend. It may only be 3 miles away but it makes a surprising difference - or, at least, that's what we tell ourselves :P

I'd like to update more, but I'm never sure what to say...

The water! So pretty! What a great view, I love it. Kinda jealous. I'd love to see the sea every day. ^_^

Thanks! It always used to annoy me when we went on beach holidays and ended up further away from the sea than we are at home :P

Ahoy! I'd try to accost you on MSN, but it doesn't seem to be working with you (blame Pidgin), so I thought I'd ask here - what recommendations have you for places to invest my windfall bond? You mentioned two-year accounts and to check that the interest rates are what they say, but I don't really know where to look...

Thanks, and love to Ben :)
