[The glass is still blank! But there is a chain with a post. And there is a collar on the end of the chain. It seems like something has slipped its leash . . . ]

Oh, dear. Has anyone seen Alexander?

...you've borrowed something from all of us, or just us as a group?

You as a group.

...

And which teams?

That will cost you.

Cost me what.

What do you want to offer?

holysiscon March 14 2010, 20:35:35 UTC
I'll have to think about it, but I'd rather make a bigger deal.

What would you want, to remove the wall between our teams?

A high price, surely.

If I'm the only one who pays, I'm willing to make a bargain.

Are you! Blindly?

I was hoping your rules would include laying out at least some of the terms, Monsieur Loyal.

I can accept offers without defining them, you know.

...you can do whatever you want to me, or have me do whatever you want to myself, in exchange for the wall coming down and both teams being able to interact and communicate again. The room doesn't change otherwise. I won't ask you to remove my folly over there, too--

*gestures at the shadowvein thing*

--though I'd stress that you not make it more powerful. Stipulations are that you don't hurt anyone else, or make me hurt anyone else, or bring the wall down and then suddenly change the environment so that people get hurt anyway. Or switch us into a different situation right afterward so that the deal is rendered useless.

I'll only make a deal if I'm the only one harmed, you see. And if it benefits everyone else.

Are you insane?!

No. I haven't actually agreed to anything yet, have I?

Ask him to lay out his terms first, don't be the one coming up with ideas! You have no idea what he's looking for, and you could end up giving him something much higher than he was initially willing to accept! This is your life you're bargaining with!
