Thanks, dearest. I'm at the point where I've talked myself out; I cried all night and just basically got royally drunk and told Chris everything I remembered about her. She was a good woman and made my uncle very happy; he's lost the love of his life and it just makes me unbelievably sad to think about what he's going through at this time, when he's got nobody to help him through this. I have my name because of her.
She died of pancreatic cancer, which, from the time we found out, ran six weeks before it killed her. I understand she was in a great deal of pain, so I think the loss was almost a relief for Uncle Loren. My mom and aunt are trying to convince him to move back to the States, and Chris and I were contemplating going down to Bolivia to visit, if we could afford that.
But anyway, thank you, love. You're an amazing friend, and I love you, too!
