As I walked home from lunch white fluffy things softly summersaulted to the ground and casted a fresh soft layer over the wooded areas along the pathways. It was as if there were dandelions in the clouds sprinkling their seeds on the town from above ( Read more... )

Oh, and BTW- I'm really glad to hear that everything is going well for you. Wish I could say the same for myself. LOL. But anywho, I hope you have a great year and send me a recording of your group sometime- I'd really like to hear it.

Love,
Selena SaberWind

P.S.-
I would NEVER pay $200 for a purse unless it was made out of gold or gave me super powers to read minds or something.

Spotted your comment on Josh's most recent posting and checked out your bio -- which is why I'm writing!

Our next door neighbors are both Northwestern grads (grad school for them) in saxophone. Bill is principal sax in the Air Force main band here in Washington, DC. His wife played in the Navy band for about ten - twelve years and then quit to stay home and take care of their kids.

So . . . if you have the desire to play professionally, the military MAY be a potential employer for you. If this interests you, I'll ask my neighbors if they are OK about some direct contact from you.

Cheers

Yup...there are those feelings, the ones you talked about near the end of the entry. I know, I feel it too - but I'm so sure that everyone does that I try not to feel ashamed by it. So I hope you don't, even if you can't keep them out of your head sometimes.

Good rep in SWE! Is it the L. Odom arrangement of the Adams? That arrangement is really damn close to the original, nearly indistinguishable. It helps that the original sounds so much like a wind ensemble piece I suppose.
