Mostly just going by the recaps and skimming the episodes right now (will start watching it seriously 5 epi. onwards); one of the best things about this is that it has so many characters that any shipping combination kink is possible, lol!
I'm an odd one out in that I'm really stuck on Im Joo Eun's character (she's the most interesting of all the girls to me, rn, even though she's been on approx. 4 min in all). I want more of her with that cheeky student of hers (Hyo-shin), maybe a love triangle between Won, Hyo-shin and her? I don't know why, but that little scene made me want to ship them like hell. I'm just waiting for the story to really take off next week, but it's fun fluff so far.
Do you plan on checking out Marry Him If You Dare, btw?
I like it. But I don't know about the indie vibe. OTOH I am notoriously poor at detecting such things.
I loved them in the California landscape (minus the horrible American actors) looking forward to seeing what happens now they're back in Seoul, though I fear it will incorporate ALL the clichés.
To be honest I almost dropped it after the first episode (I couldn't stand the terrible English, and the pace left something to be desired) but luckily it picked up after the second, and their chemistry really is through the roof. I can now safely say I am obsessed, especially since they're back in Seoul and school will be starting soon... I have a feeling that's when things are going to get really interesting, cliches and all!! Can't wait!
Mi Rae's Choice (a spoof on her name - Mi Rae also means Future so Future's Choice). The official English name is Marry Him If You Dare. Yoon Eun Hye's character is a 32yr old with a dead-end job. Her future self from 30 years in the future comes back in time to prevent her from meeting/marrying the man she was fated to end up with, get her a better career, and set her up with a different guy instead. So far, we have no idea the reasons behind her actions. It's definitely a rom/com but with some really intriguing mystery behind it all.
It's a Monday/Tuesday drama that just started last week so episode 3 is today!
