We're attempting to move the hot tub today. This task looks to take 6 strong bodies. Problem is, we've only got 3-4 available and in attendance. Anyone available to help us out for a bit? About 15 minutes ago our PI, CS, called out to the lab as a whole "Everyone stop, I'm calling a solar eclipse break!" She then proceeded to hand out pinholes and drag us all outside to look at the eclipse.

I left y'all at the end of week one, having just stopped for the weekend to give everyone a break. A break indeed!

As I finally have a few minutes where nobody wants my attention too badly, and I'm awake enough to think, I'll start putting together this update. It's been a week, here. Only a week! I think I've worked enough for it to have been at least two or three. No surprise there - this is the price I pay for not being on call the rest of the time.
