They can be so great to have, but they take up so much room! I just had to go through mine when we moved and I must have gotten rid of 5 or so. I still have a couple, but the reality is that I hardly ever wear them anymore anyways. Only on chill nights around a bonfire or something for the main part.

So sorry to hear about your parents losing their dog. It’s so hard to lose a pet. I remember losing my last dog, and it was a very sad time. I never realized how much my dog made up for how emotionally unavailable my boyfriend was until she was gone, because of how much of my needs for affection and even sense of safety were met by the dog!

Thank you for the empathy. I really appreciate it. They really do offer such a place for safety. I know that no matter where my mom turned he was right there behind her. (He was also terrible about anticipating your moves, so he would get stepped on all the time. haha.) He will definitely be missed.

I'm so sorry to hear about your parent's pup. It is never easy to lose a friend who's been with you so long. It sounds like they did the right thing for him though it's a terrible decision to have to make. I hope your pup is okay. Good thoughts for you all.
