That was wonderful, just wonderful. I love the whole bathroom scene, once I got over the tie bit (which made me laugh). It was quiet and beautiful.

I enjoyed the story, but for future reference: it's a myth that you can't let concussed people sleep. You have to wake them, but you can let them sleep. After I got hit by a car, my husband had to wake me every two hours and make sure I could answer questions coherently (which could also be loads of fun with Jack and Ianto, now that I think about it). I was encouraged to rest, and to sleep as needed, to let my brain heal. (I guess it healed. How would I know?) If I didn't wake up, or wasn't coherent, my husband was supposed to call the hospital.

I do like the creative use of the tie, and Ianto's critique of Jack's strategies: "I'm sure the 'let's split up' tactic has been discredited." ::snerk::

Oh, that's interesting - and you're right, it would make an nifty story on its own. Maybe I'll do another version of this someday with that in mind :) Glad you liked it though.
