You need to take care of yourself first and foremost. I hate that feeling of I know I should be doing something but can't. My masters' thesis got me to that point and it was hellish.
Connect with people in person, hug your family and friends, write stories if you feel like it, RP will wait, its good that way, but don't play or tie yourself in knots if its not fun.
That was the hardest part. The HARDEST. But... I think I'll be all right. And thank you, hon. I know we don't talk much, but I read and I appreciate your hugs and your words.
I totally get how you feel, even with the email stuff. It's not just email, it's Obligation.
Maybe consider taking a hiatus? Tony can cover rehearsals, if you want, and I'm sure people will step in for your other obligations. That should relax some of the pressure. Then you can just step back for a while until you're ready to play again. RL takes precedence over RP. That counts even when it's internal stuff you're dealing with.
Having you around is good, but you do have to take care of yourself first!
If a game is getting to feel like an obligation because you're not in the headspace to have fun with it, something is wrong, and I'd say just go, "Leave of Absence for Sanity Purposes. Not sure when will be back. Please do not break things while I'm gone."
It's games, not a contract, so there isn't really any reason to keep going if you're not having fun.
I agree with misslucyjane, it sounds like you need some serious time off. Delete the tags in your inbox if you have to to stop thinking about them. Go for a few weeks without even looking at the main page of the game. Then, at the end of a few weeks, think really hard about if you want to come back at all and how much you want to take on when you do.
Otherwise, I've been there and I hope things get better.
No, you were very VERY helpful! Like Jenna said, I couldn't... LET myself take the break. And you helped with that. I appreciate it.
I know what's up in that I kind of know what's exacerbating matters and while there's nothing I can do about it for the time being, getting away will help.

That was honestly One Big Concern that helped me get past things, one I hadn't even realized was quite so big to me (the theatre).

It sucks when fun stops being fun for a while. :/
