Yayyy! He's going to be ok. Turns out he has some sort of minor disease which causes acid reflux (which we knew he got anyway) so they worked out that with this acid reflux some of his stomach acid had come up his oesphagus and BURNT his throat (which is pretty grim if you ask me).
