So yesterday I took my car to the mechanic, asking them to fix the AC (which wouldn't work except on full blast) the oil (my last mechanic put in the wrong kind...even *I* know what kind of oil my car takes!) and to get an inspection and trip check (cuz of impending interstate move). My bf has been communicating with a company lately about a job now that he has graduated. He's been going back and forth a bit with them about the position for some time, and went into an interview last week. Today was my last Concentus concert. I've been with the group for 3.5 years, and I am sorry to be leaving it. At least our last concert was a really good one--we had a great sound and the audience was very responsive. So yesterday I was driving to the gym when I looked over and saw that the mcD I used to work at was halfway on the ground and there was a backhoe in the middle of where I used to take orders. My friend taught me to knit today. It was kinda fun. I've been crocheting for years, but now i can add soemthing else to my repertoire. I taught myself to knit once out of this godawful book from the seventies that used to be my mothers. I made one project after a great deal of false starts, and then never did it again.
