Here is a really great ASL translation translator performance of Marilyn Manson's "The New Shit". It makes me happy, it makes me sad, it makes me want to fund a whole bunch of work like it.

No new news on me- the job hunt is looking good, but nothing in hand yet.

My sister in law is a sign interpreter in Australian SL. She might be up for extra money. :)

I was trying to learn ASL and Spanish at the same time, and realized I need to take one thing at a time.
In the mean time, I really enjoyed this.

That's a talent.
I've been remiss with both things and realize I've got to get serious again.

wow that's amazing and cool.

I always feel remiss because my mother was an itinerant teacher for the deaf and one of my cousins is deaf and yet I only know a couple of swears in NZSL

Wow.

That was brilliant. I need to see more of this fellow's performance/translations - I trust there are more?

The links are there on YouTube.

Now... are you gonna get a translator for your gigs?

Just a thought....

That would be an interesting addition, though it must be said that we already generally outnumber our audience when we play out, if we don't count the other bands and the bartender.

"So, yeah, you get to be our official translator. Sell tickets to the gigs to all your friends. You do have friends, don't you? 'Cos none of us do and we were hoping...."
