It's interesting that, although I understood what was happening in the story she was telling, it didn't have the same impact on me as on her audience. Obviously, she's telling part of Russian/Soviet history that rings deep chords even now with people there.
In bed at the moment, recovering from my latest hernia surgery and appreciating being in a place with true, functioning state sponsored healthcare.
As I am now employed, I have a private plan with lots of bells and whistles - including accupressure and dental and optical - but the hernia pre dated my private insurance so I took the state ride.
Still looking at antartica ads for you.
Does Pug at Spagthorpe still forward to my gmail?
Drugs? Yes, fine thanks.
This was not a laproscopic procedure- now held together with cyanoacrylate.
As I am recovering from a surgery, I am filing through and organising my collection and discovered that almost all of my pre-1980 "Rock-and-Roll" to be inexplicably missing.
The Beatles and the Zappa are there and some misc, but a whole lot of things such as The Who, The Rolling Stones, much of the Queen catalogue and such are all... not there.
All the folk rock is there- just not the main of the mainstream as it were.
I do hate to admit it, but I would listen to all 19 versions of God Only Knows... but would only do so once and it would have to involve Tequila.
So... to what extent hospitality allows, please to load me up!
Amazing indeed! I sent this to my friend Serge in Moscow and he called crying, unable to tell me why...just able to thank me again and again. Thank you Kahu

Always a pleasure to see you pop-up here.
No to pester, but now especially eager for your best of Beach Boys, as I discovered I lost a key portion of my digital music collection of 1960-77.
