It is with a heart saddened to the point of breaking that I share with you all the passing of Poni Kamauu, my teacher, friend, mentor, and big brother. Wow! What a good time we had yesterday at the wedding of Amy and James. We started with photos at the Opaeka'a Falls overlook, then moved on to Anini Beach on the North Shore for a private wedding celebration, and then moved further up Anini Beach for a private catered reception dinner for two.

With Blessings from Ke Akua o ka A'ina, my first wedding ceremony went well, and the bride and groom fell deeply in love with each other again during the ceremony, and got "truly married" at the beach in Kauai, even though they were married in front of family and friends with tuxedos and gowns in Texas the week before. Caitlyn came to visit us in Kauai with her Mom and Dad yesterday. We went out to dinner last night, then today we had big adventures! Caitlyn went swimming in the ocean! She loved it!
