Wide awake and not even kidding

So the clock on my computer says 1:19am. And I should be in bed, but laying down doesn't seem to accomplish anything, and the thoughts inside my head keep going no matter how hard I try to shush them. comment if?! now where did you come up with that crazy idea...
i started writing everything down, in an effort to get it out of my head and onto paper so i wouldn't have to keep thinking about it, and in theory could fall asleep more easily. I don't really know if it's helping or not, but thats my one and only fun trick.

you really do write poetically when you want to. ;) I know I'm the "cw major" in our relationship, but these words were beauty on a computer screen.
I think we're approaching some of the hardest months of our lives, and all I can say is how ridiculously grateful I am that we can hold hands while stepping forward together. Nitty gritty stuff is harder to focus on when you have everyone (or most everyone) you love surrounding you. I promise that much. We generally seem to have a pretty good balance about all of this between the two of us anyway.
I suck at sleep aids -- like not even gonna try and make suggestions because odds are they will only keep you more awake. Hot tea and scrabble can be an option soon, but for now, count shepherds?
