If you're interested in seeing some kind of pretty, heavy, shoegazey metal tomorrow night in Philly?

Also, the question of whether or not you have read villagecharm arose as I was reading this, and I realise you haven't, or at least haven't friended him. I think you both would love each others' takes on things! Please look!

Hope to see you soon!

you're like a walking villagecharm ad. I friended him because of you talking about him too. but you're right!

sounds good. yeah, it was a weird little tid bit to grow up with. one of my uncles was a coal miner well into the 80's actually, albeit not of the molly variety!

what changed? brendan62442 February 29 2008, 07:22:43 UTC
What has changed so you feel comfortable socially?

Re: what changed? danschank February 29 2008, 15:05:43 UTC
age probably. and being more comfortable being weird. it seems to me that as most people i know hit thirty or whatever, they tend to either let their personalities loose, or supress them in a really sad kinda way. most of the people i know are in the former camp, thankfully.

lately, i've felt more sorta "experimental" about meeting people. i've been trying to force myself to sustain conversations, to try to get out of my comfort zone, etc. i'm trying to listen to people more than i used to i guess.

those amazon.com "if you liked... then also check out..." type lists REALLY mirror the way my brain works.

And do you often click on links whilst holding Ctrl so that you can cross-reference two different web-pages in the same browser window? I'm a sucker for that. :)
