2012 Goals
I’ve decided to change the format of my goals for 2012. Instead of an enumerated out list, I’m going to have a goal statement with actions that I will revisit on a semi-regular basis. Last vacation day cometh!
I sit here, writing this blog during the very last moments of my vacation. Work begins anew for 2012 tomorrow and I am optimistic for a change. - Have a baby. We’ve got a pretty good jump-start on this one.SUCCESS! In case you’ve been living under a rock, Eve Marie Dalcher was born on March 23rd. She is awesome, and here is a photo album to prove it.

On the edge of a New Year…
As I write this post, I am sitting on my parent’s couch in Pekin finishing the very last of my Illinois Christmas vacation. I realize that my blogging as diminished in the last several months, normally I would be sitting here apologizing for that indiscretion.

2011 Workouts 25-30: Post Nationals…
Tonight was the first post-Nationals workout at the Arvada dojo. We started out the class alternating around through the 15 basic Shotokan kata, and then Sensei Tarrant said that he wanted to do some of the more “showy” advanced katas that were featured at the Nationals competition.

Before the Foo Fighters concert, I was sitting around musing about how weird it was to be out at a concert while Tasha watched Eve. 2011 Workout #20-25: Miscellaneous karate and some sweeping…
Wow, what a drought here… so lets talk about some karate! The last few workouts have been pockmarked amid work and Church activities, but it has been some good training nonetheless. The ukulele project nears completion…
We spent the weekend socializing with some of our gamer friends, including my friend Ed Healy. He came to town to run one of his Gamerati Tour event stops and asked if he could stay with us for a few days.
