While in the car today searching for stuff to listen to, I came across my cassette tape copy of Phil Collins's "Both Sides" album. It's incredible, and I'd forgotten how much so until I put it in the tape deck today and listened through at least once over the course of my driving. It's quite poppy, but not in a bad way. Simple, but evocative.

Sometime before summer's out, I want to write something. I'm not sure if it's to be a song, a musical, an instrumental piece, or something entirely different, but I feel a need to respond to my creative side's calling ( Read more... )
