Beautifully done :). I really like the transitions and though time passes, it all remains the same from that first moment.

Thanks! I guess I have a weakness for stories where the end is contained in the beginning (hey, at least this one didn't use a circular timeline). Anyhow, I'm really glad you liked it.

Beautiful Kara voice. Poignany and totallly spot on, especialy about her needing him to hate her, and Kara being Lee's home.

Thanks! It's kind of interesting how, when you write, the little things that have the most impact aren't the ones you have in mind in advance, but the things that just sort of come along as you go. Anyway, thanks for commenting and I'm glad you liked it!

utter fingers-in-ears denial of anyone in fandom who may have suggested that K&L are just going to be BFF now

Oh man, I haven't read any fic in forever but I always enjoy your work, so. And I loved it! This was really great. My favorite paragraph is 5 which got me a little sniffly, I'll admit, but 9 is so lovely, too. And there are some excellent lines which so accurately capture Kara. So, thanks, because it was very them and cheered me up, too. :)
