I learned a new medical term today: bicuspid aortic valve.
This is the cause of the murmur my doctor heard during my regular annual and why I needed an ECG. I am one of 20 out of 1000 people born with this design to my heart. Normally, this valve is made up of 3 "leaves" - my aortic valve only has 2.
Am I going to die? No.

Last week our department went on a team building retreat. One of the things I found very interesting about this was that we all did the Myers Briggs personality test beforehand to see what kinds of personalities exist in our group. Since our group has doubled in size over the past year to 16, this was a very helpful exercise.

Christmas Cookie Recipe
1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup of brown sugar
lemon juice
4 large eggs
1 cup nuts
2 cups of dried fruit
1 bottle Crown Royal Reserve
